Frazzled Cat decided to set up the Frazzle Awards several years ago after suffering appalling service from several
companies or persons, we realised that although many awards are given away such as OBE's etc, the ordinary person in the street who go out of their way to make life better for people tend not to get awards or
recognition, thus we decided to give awards to help encourage these people to continue their good works and to help others to do likewise. Awards are given to individuals or companies that go out of their way to give
great customer service, not only might this be a restaurant or shop but also individuals such as bus drivers who might help take the shopping into the house for an elderly person. For instance I always say thank you to
a helpful bus driver but most people don't, our aim is to encourage people to be more pleasant, helpful and friendly to each other and to help make a small contribution to make today's society less selfish and a more

The Bay Horse Inn.
They obtained their Frazzle award due not only to their excellent quality beers, but also because they provide some of the finest food of any public house we have ever eaten in, they provide good wholesome cooking with generous portions and are rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the best eating places for miles around. Emma And Dan took over the pub around two years ago, they provide a friendly atmosphere in which to sample some good food and ale and they are the type of hosts you rarely find these days, they type who make a customer feel that they matter. Another great pub, this one has already won lots of awards from Camra for it's quality ales and service. It was taken over a couple of years ago by Simon & Jane and their dog Orval who quickly became a celebrity himself, sadly Orval died earlier this summer and is greatly missed. Simon & Jane are pub hosts of the old style, they make you feel welcome as soon as you go through the door. They provide tastes of each beer before you buy and they make sure you get a full pint.They have become so popular that people regularly travel 20 or 30 miles to visit them. Regular walks are organised and there is a general knowledge quiz on Thursdays. They are the type of hosts that every pub should have and so to encourage others to follow their example we had no hesitation in awarding them a Frazzle Award. The Fountaine Inn.
This wonderful pub situated in the pretty village of Linton provides great food and quality beer in a wonderful friendly welcoming atmosphere. After visiting it a few times and always made to feel very welcome we decided to give it a Frazzle award. This pub is well worth a visit, a true old world style pub surrounded by such wonderful scenery. We have been unable to visit for the past couple of years so we have no way of knowing if they are still maintaining these high standards but we hope they are, if you visit and find otherwise please let us know as our high standards must be maintained at all times.
